It's a story about this guy Lars,who bought a life sized doll and introducing her to everyone as his girlfriend.Now,Lars is an anti social creature who detest body contact with anyone.Beneath this warped storyline is a tale about acceptance,and how love can make one embrace all the flaws that one may have.I thought it was a rather heart warming show.<br /><br />Of course Ryan Gosling made Lars such an interesting character.According to him,prior to the filming,he spent 1 mth with the life sized doll inside his house to get into Lars's mindset.Oh my,he's an intense actor.Hopefully he won't end up in Heath Ledger's footstep.Too engrossed in his roles and not able to snap out of it.<br /><br />Just discovered this movie rental kiosk called Play! which provides cheap movie rentals.They even offer free dvds rentals!Of course only limited number of movies to choose from,but I sure benefited from it.
