padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;"> <span style="float: right;"><font class="daisies"></font></spaN><BR> <font class="peonies">Sunday, March 30, 2008</font><br><br> <div style="clear:both;"></div><object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/us2fnjE9Hq4&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/us2fnjE9Hq4&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object><br /><br />This song is called 'Star' and it's performed by Bryan Adams.It is a song that touched me very much.The emotion I felt came from this movie called,'Jack', starring the extremely talented Robin Williams. <br /><br />He plays this character named Jack who contracted this rare disease which resulted in him to possess the looks of a 40 year old, and a mentality to that of a 5 year old.You may associate him with the equally beloved Ah Wang,but I personally prefer Jack.<br /><br />Perhaps the story was much more simple and Robin Williams was so much more endearing.I watched this movie when I was still in my primary school days.For me to remember the song and the movie till this very minute shows how much this movie has an impact on my life. <br /><br />The song never fails to bring a bittersweet feeling.Despite the stares that Jack had to endure due to his rare condition,he fought on and led a fulfilling life.<br /><br />Speaking of Robin Williams,I can NEVER forget him in Mrs Doubtfire!Him impersonating as a nanny to be in close proximity to his children was a true classic.Ha!I remembered Channel 5 used to have countless re-runs of that movie.Another re-run of that movie is long overdue!<div style="clear:both;
