padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;"> <span style="float: right;"><font class="daisies"></font></spaN><BR> <font class="peonies">Saturday, February 03, 2007</font><br><br> <div style="clear:both;"></div>so i went Chinatown today to soak in the festive spirit.<br /><br />i think normal,brainy human beings know that it is an absolute no no to go to Chinatown during weekends since you'll be jostling for space with the entire S'pore population.<br /><br />but then weekends is the only time my sis is free,so we just have to go today.<br /><br />many ang mohs were spotted there.lots of them!!!!!!!!!!<br /><br />then there were tourists from other countries whom all held a camera at hand,taking pictures of the vibrant scene taking place in front of them.<br /><br />i saw 2 china tourists posing in front of the la chang store.i was like,'huh????'<br /><br />i mean,china also has la chang what,why come all the way here,waste the camera's battery life to have eternal memories of la changs?<br /><br />10 years down the road,while they are flipping through the photo album with their grandchildren, and chanced upon that particular pic that they took with the la chang,they'll stroke their beard and say,'Ah,that's ah gong striking a pose in front of a la chang.'<br /><br />then the grandchildren will say,'Nice,ah gong'<br /><br />and an uncomfortable silence will engulf them for a full 10 secs before ah gong moves on to the next picture.<br /><br />anyway,we didn't buy anything lar.<br /><br />except for food.<br /><br />1 thing i don't understand is why parents insist on pushing baby prams through the crowds?<br /><br />you know,sometimes the whole family will slow down and take a look at something,then they'll park the pram at the side,causing the entire traffic to stop moving.<br /><br />then,all of us will have to walk around the pram to continue our journey<br /><br />sometimes,the wheels of the pram will run over your toe legs.<br /><br />provided that you're wearing shoes,then you'll be fine.<br /><br />but,if you're wearing open toes sandals,then it's goodbye pedicure,hello ba lu ku.<br /><br />was watching down with love just now.<br /><br />this is my 3rd time watching it!!!!!!!<br /><br />i like the 60s feel in that movie.<br /><br />of course,ewan mcgregor is the icing on the cake!<br /><br />he has blue eyes!!!!!!!!!!!<br /><br />he was rumoured to be one of the potential candidates to play the role of james bond.<br /><br />but then,as all of us know,the role landed on Daniel-I am old but my body is fabulous-Craig's lap.<br /><br />why???????in terms of looks,ewan wins hands down.<br /><br />in terms of accent,ewan's scottish accent is waayyyyy sexier.<br /><br />to summarise,in terms of anything,ewan wins.<br /><br />this is a weird world.<div style="clear:both;
