padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;"> <span style="float: right;"><font class="daisies">I've come out of the 'closet'!!!</font></spaN><BR> <font class="peonies">Wednesday, August 30, 2006</font><br><br> <div style="clear:both;"></div>I'm gradually coming out of my shell these past few days.Well,the circumstances I'm in forces me to do so.But then,I kinda enjoy being bold.<br /><br />I took the initative to introduce myself to total strangers who were sitting beside me at every lectureLike,hello!I'm sarah,what's your name?Then I'll ask the routine qns and stop talking.I was telling Shi Zhen how difficult it is to strike up a conversation with strangers once the usual qns were asked and answered.I mean,you can't start asking her how's her love life like,or how many members are there in her family,or has her dog died...Anything intimate is just weird.These things will naturally be revealed once you're comfortable with that person or you've learnt to trust and like this person.<br /><br />While it's good that I am introducing myself to others,the disadvantage is the tough task of continuing this conversation.It's really super hard to break into cliques.I find that people just ignore me after I've talked to them.Cliques usually talk amongst themselves.How rude!<br /><br />Another change is I'm speaking up during lectures!Well,only for 1 qn and 1 lecture lar.But still.I broke my many years of silence because the lecturer was so open to students asking questions.And also,the students are like throwing answers at him like speed bullets!Might as well join the shooting process right?<br /><br />But then,I answered the qn stupidly,so well,the lecture hall erupted with laughter.I was super embarrassed,but then I don't care lar,coz no one knows me.<br /><br />I still don't dare to talk to ang mohs though.I guess it's bcoz firstly,I'm not a very fluent English speaker,and secondly,I just don't dare to look at them straight in the eye!Yeah,weird but true.Till now,no ang mohs has approached me to ask me anything,even the directions of toilet,none!So I'm still alright at that department.<br /><br />Oh!An ang moh did approach me!Just remembered.He asked me to look after his stuff while he went to pee!I simply nodded my head VERY VIGOROUSLY.Does that count?<div style="clear:both;
