My mum went clubbing with her friends. She told us causally yesterday,'oh, i'm going europa tmr with my friends.' When i heard that, i was thinking, 'why is my mum going to Europe and giving us such a short notice?!' It was later when my sis enlightened me that europa is a club, then my jaw dropped. I mean, THIS IS MY MUM!!!! THE 100% AUNTIE WHO IS THE MOST LOYAL CUSTOMER OF NTUC FOR GOD'S SAKE!! Since when did she become so happening??!! Or rather, more happening than her not-so-happening daughters?Hmm...I wonder what my mum is doing right now as I'm typing this. Is she dancing to the beat of saturday night fever? worse still, drinking voka shots? Will she come home drunk? wow....MY MUM IS MORE HAPPENING THAN ME! But then, she has always been a daring person. She likes to wear tube tops and borrows clothes from my sis to wear. But then, its still kinda weird that your mum who's always nagging at you 24/7 suddenly has an image overhaul and goes clubbing.<br /><br />My arm is aching like mad right now after yesterday's badminton. Its like whenever I stretched even a tiny bit, I'll cringe. See? this is a result of not excersizing regularly, tsk tsk.<br /><br />Didn't benefit much from today's career seminar. The 1st speaker was telling us his life story, and luckily due to time constraints he had to stop. Or else he'll start talking about his family history as well. He came across as a cocky guy, and some of the things he said had me rolling my eyes. In short, he's an ass and his talk was so boring that I chose to look at the walls than him.<br /><br />The grooming session was the highlight of the day. The speaker was so damn funny with her usage of words that I was laughing all the way. I liked the way she is able to talk about breasts and bras so freely. But besides that, I didn't quite listen to the tips she gave to dress well.Not interested in fashion at all.<br /><br />On the way home, I overheard, ok, I mean eavesdropped on a conversation btw a group of pri sch kids. They were discussing what movies to catch later. And their choice of movies made my eyes grew wider and wider every min. They dropped titles like 'House of wax' and 'Star wars'. Hello?House of wax? the show was shot to focus on Paris Hilton's boobs and her terrible acting skills!! But what's scary is that these small kids are just pri 3 and they are already watching adult movies, and horrible ones that is. At least 1 girl was normal, she suggested watching 'Madagascar'. When I heard that,I had an urge to go forward and hug her and to give her a pat on the back. At least she's still a kiddo. Seriously, kids nowadays grow up too fast. Pay $8.50 to watch Paris Hilton act?
