Intially, we were having trouble deciding on whether we want to watch Ms Congeniality 2 or that. Well, we finally came to a decision when I said I was in the mood to watch a romantic movie that will make me grin like an idiot and my sis was feeling romantic. I saw Jaclyn with her friend in the cinema, and surprise surprise! she was sitting beside me!At that time I was thinking," Oh holy crap!That means if there's a funny part, I can't laugh out loud coz my laughter sounds really horrible and she'll cringe." And so the movie started, it had a nice intro, as in it was funny and I laughed.(out loud,totally forgetting that she's there) But then as the show continued, I had lots of qn marks in my head and the story started to get really boring. Lots of stuff weren't explained, and the characters fell in love for no rhyme of reason. I think it's bcoz the movie was adapted from a novel and so lots of stuff were left unsaid. I shall go find the novel to read, maybe all my qns will be answered.<br /><br />Being a sucker for romantic comedies, I was totally disappointed with the movie. I need to feel the romance between the characters in order to like it.That's why I like Love Actually and Kate & Leoplod.This movie's storyline wasn't well developed, though I must admit that the female lead was funny. She was such a klutz!Cute.<br /><br />Back to Jaclyn, one thing I must say:SHE IS VERY PRETTY!!! I was like, woah.... She looks totally different from her sec sch days. Amazing, as if she secretly took part in Extreme Makeover. If anyone passed by us in the cinema, they will surely see the stark contrast between us. She: Dressed in mini skirt, sans jacket. Me: Wearing jeans AND jacket, yet still had the feeling that I'm in North Pole. That girl is a real pro man! Can withstand the coldness. For your info, I finally managed to walk into the cinema without holding someone else's hand! In fact, both of my hands were holding onto popcorn and drinks! That's simply bcoz the cinema lights were still on when we went in, so I didn't need any help. But I'm so proud of myself!<br /><br />Have to go now, want to watch Ms S'pore Universe and critise them.
