I still have a date with Aragon and gang tmr as my mum will start giving me dirty looks if I watch tv for 6 hrs straight in a day. I made some earth shattering observations during the course of the marathon though. Here goes:<br /><br /></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0.25in;">1.The characters speak in rhymes in every other sentence. Eg: Take this light, it shall be the brightest light when darkness falls. If you want him, come and claim him. Aren’t all these sentences very rhymey? Is there even such a word? So, after watching LOTR, my knowledge of rhymes was broadened. I no longer only knew “okey doky” as a rhyme. See? Watching movies enhances your English language! Whoever said it was useless should run around the <st1:place><st1:placetype>island</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:placename>S’pore</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> 10 times as a form of punishment.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>2. Ditto to Legolas’s scriptwriter. (as in the running part) He was voicing out the EXTEREMELY obvious stuff which we can all see! Eg: The scene shows a forest and all was silent. Then the camera was zooming in on Legolas’s face, his look was very intense. At this point, one will be expecting him to say something intelligent. But all he said was, “All is silent.” What the hell?! I slapped my forehead when he said that. The scriptwriter must have a grudge against Orlando Bloom thus he made him say such things.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p>3. </o:p>Legolas NEVER runs out of arrows! There were several battle scenes and the enemies came in swarms. Yet Legolas had never ending supply of arrows to shoot (in a very nice pose, I must add) the enemies! There must be some arrows supply store lurking in every corner of the forest, that’s why his arrows never run out. </p> <p class="MsoNormal">That’s all I’ve to say about LOTR. Although I must add on that it is indeed very touching to see the fellowship having such a strong bond. It’s nice.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>Went ps with Ze Ting after passing her the present. Then we saw a fashion show going on there. There were lots of models, they were all nice and handsome. (If not, then why are they in the modeling industry in the 1<sup>st</sup> place right?)Models are visual candies, they look good and walk nicely. They are tall and lanky. But after watching “<st1:country-region><st1:place>America</st1:place></st1:country-region>’s next top model”, I think their lives are not as glamourous as what it seemed to be. Well, there were lots of bitching going on in the show, and some contestants had this really bad attitude which makes you shake your head in disappointment. There were lots of bad stabbing going on and they spit vulgarities faster than you can say apple.<o:p></o:p><br /></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Oh! And THANK YOU VERY MUCH ZE TING for you know what. I really really appreciate that!<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p>I stink like nobody’s business now! Have to go bathe!
